Today Charles Hudson sent around the videos from his Social Gaming Summit that took place at the UCSF Mission Bay Conference Center in June. Both the venue and the turnout were great, the excitement level was high, and Offerpal was proud to have sponsored it.
Videos from all six sessions are posted on YouTube and the conference web site. One of our favorite sessions was the panel on “Monetization and Business Models for Social Games,” moderated by Lightspeed Venture’s Ravi Mhatre and featuring Sparkplay’s Matt Mihaly, Acclaim’s David Perry, and other luminaries.
Next up for Hudson is the Virtual Goods Summit 2008 on October 10th. This one day conference will focus “on the emerging market opportunity for virtual goods and economies.” Sounds right up our alley.
